Ilene Eisen, Software Consultant, CPA and owner of ie Solutions, located in Monterey, was featured with a photo in the September 2000 issue of “Accounting Technology.” She was interviewed for the article, “Consulting Summit – Leaders Speak Out”.  Seven consultants, including Ms. Eisen, were gathered together in Atlanta, Georgia at the American Instituee of CPA’s Tech 2000 Conference for a discussion on their views of the IT (Information Technology) consulting business. In addition, Ms. Eisen was interviewed for a video sponsored by the Robert Half Employment Agency. The video will be shown at trade shows and used for recruitment purposes to motivate students to choose a career in Accounting. Ms. Eisen was asked by the California CPA Society to present information in the video on a Technology consulting practice.

ie Solutions offers consulting services on Accounting Software and Organizational Information Systems. The firm specializes in MAS90, Business Works and QuickBooks software programs. It provides training to businesses in accounting software through individual consultation and in small classes. It also provides accounting system needs analysis, new software installation services and data entry services. In addition, it sells MAS90, Business Works and Timeslips accounting software.

Eisen has worked with both public accounting firms and industry for over 20 years. She is the Chairperson of the California Society of CPA’s State Technology Committee. She is also the founder of the Monterey Technology Discussion Group for CPA’s. She has a Bachelors Degree in Management Information Systems and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo. She is also a member of the Professional Women’s Network and Salinas Valley Business Women’s Network and active in the local schools.
