Ilene Eisen, CPA, appointed to National Committee for Certified Information Technology Professionals

Ilene Eisen, CPA, owner of, ie Solutions, located in Monterey, has been appointed to a three year term to serve on the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) credential committee for the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA).  The AICPA is the national CPA organization with over  300,000 members.  The CITP is a special credential for CPAs specializing in Information Technology .

ie Solutions offers consulting services to businesses and individuals on Accounting Software and Organizational Information Systems. The firm specializes in working with clients utilizing the popular MAS90, Business Works and QuickBooks software programs. It provides training to businesses in accounting software through individual consultation and in small classes. It also provides accounting system needs analysis, new software installation services and data entry services. In addition, it sells MAS90, Business Works and Timeslips accounting software.

Eisen has worked with both public accounting firms and businesses for over 20 years. She is the founder of the Monterey Technology Group for CPA’s. She has a Bachelors degree in Management Information Systems and a Masters in Business Administration from Cal Poly at San Luis Obispo. She is also a member of the Professional Women’s Network and Salinas Valley Business Women’s Network and active in the local schools..
